With a short ferry ride on the Chao Phraya river, we arrive at the Grand Palace of Bangkok. Its beautiful architecture is proof of the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai people. A must-see sight that no visit to Bangkok would be complete without. The dazzling Grand Palace is undoubtedly the city’s most famous landmark. Built in 1782 – and for 150 years the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government. Today, the complex remains the spiritual heart of the Thai Kingdom. We arrived late in the afternoon when the crowds have gone and when the sun is low to capture the golden walls of the temples.
