During our first walk around the city, these fruit trees lined the streets of Seville. At first glance, we mistaken them for limes since it’s dark green. But they are Seville’s famous orange trees. Tens of thousands of them ripe every December/January and used for the finest orange marmalade. Britian’s favourite export from Seville. They are bitter oranges and best for orange wine, perfumes and marmalade. The locals will warn tourists of the dangers in Seville. Danger of rolling your ankles from fallen oranges 🙂
