Khao Lak Beach

We headed to Khao Lak beach of the Phang Nga province in Thailand for some water and sand time. Khao Lak is about 1 hour from Phuket airport and was hit hard in the 2004 tsunami. The town rebounded with new resorts since the catastrophe but still managed to maintain a much quieter and secluded landscape than their famous neighbour Phuket.

The beach also gave us a chance to practice with a camera filter that is often used with moving water.

The sunsets were so vivid and unreal. Great timing for our photos!
