Flavours of Penang

Our visit to Penang was like an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s  show “The Layover”. It was a 48 hour marathon of eating street food, various cafe’s and restaurants.

The food in Georgetown, Penang is legendary – Southeast Asia’s finest where a mix of cultures have contributed to their culinary melting pot. Chinatown, Little India, hawker stalls and food courts – the multitude of choices for eating in Georgetown is delightfully overwhelming. Here are samples of the different flavours we were able to enjoy during our short stay.
