We are Paulo & Annie, married and live in Vancouver, Canada. In 2014, we decided to take a leap of faith and pursue our dream of long term travel. About 6 months ago started the motion to pack up our lives to prepare for our 1 year sabbatical. We are very lucky to have both of our employers graciously approved our leave of absence, then the checklist began. We rented out our apartment, got rid of the car, and decluttered.
Our goals for this journey is truly to recalibrate, slow down life to smell the roses and focus on our hobbies. This will allow us to take our time and hopefully capture more local culture in each country and cities we arrive into. Meet new people, see new places and wander the world one step at a time are the most fulfilling to us.
We named this blog Quest Play Love as a reflection of our journey through travels and life filled fun, happiness and love for each other.
Our friends and families have been extremely supportive of our sabbatical and dream to travel long term. This blog will allow us to keep in touch with them back home.
